DJI OM Multifunctional Module 2 is built specifically for Osmo Mobile 8P users who want smarter, more reliable subject tracking without relying entirely on their phone's processing power. The module runs its own on-device AI processing, easing the load on the phone's processor and keeping tracking smooth across different camera apps. Its tracking range extends beyond people to include pets, vehicles, and general objects. It connects through a plug-and-play USB-C port on the roll axis with a quick reversible mount, and includes a built-in fill light with eight adjustable brightness and color temperature levels — a practical addition for solo vlogging in varying lighting conditions.

Key Features :

• On-Device AI Tracking: The module includes its own built-in AI processing chip that handles subject tracking independently, rather than relying solely on the phone's processor. This results in more stable and consistent tracking, particularly when using third-party camera apps that may not match the performance of a phone's native camera.
• Extended Tracking for People, Pets, Vehicles, and Objects: Unlike standard tracking modules limited to people, this module extends tracking to cats, dogs, vehicles, and other objects, making it well-suited for varied content like daily vlogs, pet videos, and automotive footage.
• Built-In Fill Light with 8 Brightness and Color Temperature Levels: The integrated light reaches 40 lux (measured at 0.6 meters from the subject), with a color temperature range of 2500K to 6000K, allowing you to adjust between warm and cool lighting depending on the environment. Brightness and color temperature are controlled directly through the gimbal's side dial.
• Plug-and-Play Installation via Reversible USB-C Mount: Installation is fully plug-and-play through the USB-C port on the roll axis, with no tools required. The reversible mount design lets you face the module forward or backward depending on your shooting setup — whether filming yourself or someone else.
• Full Compatibility with DJI OM Magnetic Accessories: The module works seamlessly with all DJI OM magnetic phone clamps and the Magnetic Quick-Release Mount, preserving the quick-swap convenience the Osmo Mobile ecosystem is known for.

Connectivity & Compatibility

This module is designed exclusively to work with:

• DJI Osmo Mobile 8P

It is not compatible with earlier Osmo Mobile generations (such as the OM 7 series or the standard Osmo Mobile 8), as the connection mechanism and AI processing differ between generations.
