What Are Mobile Phone Activation Fees in Egypt?
As of January 2025, customs and tax fees are applied to mobile phones imported from abroad. These are officially referred to as “Phone Activation Fees.”
These fees are paid once only, calculated at approximately 38.5% of the device’s value, and must be paid through the official "Telephony" app within 90 days of activating the device in Egypt.
Do All Devices on Your Website Include These Fees?

No. At Ennap.com, we provide two clear options depending on your needs:

- Local Warranty Devices: These devices come with fully paid fees, and you won’t need to pay anything extra after purchase.
- International Devices (without local warranty): These may not have their fees paid, but for some products, we offer a fees-paid version at a discounted price.
Will I Need to Pay Anything Later If I Choose a Fees-Paid Device?
No. If you choose the fees-paid version, the price displayed on the website includes all government fees. No additional payments or steps are required.
What’s the Difference Between a Fees-Paid and a Non-Paid Device?
- Fees-Paid: Ready for immediate use in Egypt. No further actions or payments required.
- Not Paid: Works for 90 days only in Egypt, after which you’ll need to pay the activation fee via the Telephony app to avoid service interruption.

How Do I Know If a Device Has the Fees Paid? The fee status is clearly mentioned on each product page—either in the product description or among the available purchase options.

What Is the Value of the Fees?
The fees vary depending on the device model. You can:

  • Contact us directly to check the fee for a specific device.
  • Or visit our Help Center to view the official fee values.

Who Sets the Fee Amount, and Can It Change?Fees are set by the National Telecom Regulatory Authority
Each model has a fixed amount, though the government may update values periodically.

How Do I Pay the Fees If I Choose a Device Without Paid Fees?
Fees are paid through the official “Telephony” app:

  1. Download the app.
  2. Enter the IMEI number of your device.
  3. Pay using a bank card or another available payment method.

What Happens If I Don’t Pay the Fees After 90 Days?
Your device’s cellular services (calls, mobile data, SMS) will be suspended. It will only work again after the fee is paid via the app.

Can I Buy the Device Now and Pay the Fees Later?
Yes, you have a legal grace period of 90 days from the date of activation inside Egypt to pay the fee via the Telephony app.

Product Details

The iQibla Zikr M02 Pro is a metal smart tasbih ring with a larger, brighter 0.42-inch OLED display for the time, tasbih count and prayer times, plus a charging case.

Larger, brighter 0.42-inch OLED screen
The main difference between the M02 Pro and the M02 is the screen: a 0.42-inch OLED display that is larger and brighter. The time, your tasbih count and the adhan prayer times are clear at a glance, which helps between two meetings or while you wait for the iqama.

Durable metal tasbih ring in three colours
The ring has a durable metal body with a refined look, so it reads as jewellery on the hand and holds up to everyday wear at work, at the mosque and at home. It comes in Space Gray, Rose Gold and Graphite, and you choose yours from the product options before ordering.

iQibla Zikr M02 Pro in Space Gray, Rose Gold and Graphite

If the bigger screen matters less to you, the M02 is the other option to consider, since the screen is the main difference between the two rings.

iQibla Zikr M02 Pro Key Features:

  • One press, one count: Each press of the button adds one to your tasbih, a direct way to count by touch without unlocking a phone during your dhikr.
  • Vibration at 33, 66, 99 and 100: The ring vibrates at these counts, so you know a set of 33 is done or that you have reached 100 without checking the screen.
  • Five prayer reminders: Each of the five prayer reminders can reach you on the ring or on your phone, whichever suits you at work, at home or on the road.
  • Dhikr history: The iQIBLA Life app saves your dhikr history, so you can look back at earlier counts and keep a steady routine from day to day.
  • Bluetooth 5.1: The ring links to the iQIBLA Life app over Bluetooth 5.1 to receive prayer reminders and keep your dhikr history in the app.
  • Not water resistant: Take the ring off before wudu or hand washing and put it back on afterwards.
  • Charging case: When the ring is off, it goes into its charging case, which charges it and keeps it protected in a bag or a drawer.
  • One ring in your size: You get one ring in 18mm, 20mm or 22mm. Choose the size from the product options before ordering.
  • Paper strip size guide: Wrap a strip of paper around the base of your finger and measure it: 53 to 57mm fits 18mm, 58 to 65mm fits 20mm and 66 to 70mm fits 22mm.
