Collection: Desktops

A desktop computer gives you more performance for the space it takes, and you choose the screen, keyboard and mouse yourself. The Apple Mac mini M6 fits a 12-core CPU, a 12-core GPU and up to 32GB of unified memory into a 12.7 cm aluminium body that runs at 5 dBA at idle. Two USB-C ports and a headphone jack sit on the front, and the back has three Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI and 2.5Gb or 10Gb Ethernet, with Wi-Fi 7 and support for up to three external displays.

For video timelines, 3D scenes and local AI models, the Apple Mac mini M5 Pro reaches an 18-core CPU, a 20-core GPU and 64GB of unified memory, with three Thunderbolt 5 ports at up to 120Gb per second. The Apple Mac Studio M5 Max has up to a 40-core GPU and 128GB of unified memory, an SDXC card slot on the front and support for five external displays, and the Apple Mac Studio M5 Ultra goes to a 36-core CPU, an 80-core GPU and 256GB for up to eight displays. The Apple Mac mini M4, with a 10-core CPU and a 10-core GPU, handles everyday work, study and photo editing.

For an office or a study desk that runs Windows or Linux, the DELL Pro Tower is a full-size business tower with a three-year warranty. It comes with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265 or a Core i7-14700, both with 20 cores, or with an Intel Core Ultra 5 235 or a Core i5-14500 with 14 cores, and every version has 8GB of DDR5 and a 512GB NVMe SSD. It ships without an operating system, so you install the system and the licence you use at work.

A tower also grows with your work. In the DELL Pro Tower, the second memory slot is empty, so adding a matching module doubles the 8GB and runs the memory in dual channel, up to 64GB in total. Two SATA bays take a second drive, and a full-height PCIe x16 slot leaves room for a graphics card later. Add a screen from our computer monitors page, and compare laptops in laptops and computers.
