What Are Mobile Phone Activation Fees in Egypt?
As of January 2025, customs and tax fees are applied to mobile phones imported from abroad. These are officially referred to as “Phone Activation Fees.”
These fees are paid once only, calculated at approximately 38.5% of the device’s value, and must be paid through the official "Telephony" app within 90 days of activating the device in Egypt.

Do All Devices on Your Website Include These Fees?

No. At Ennap.com, we provide two clear options depending on your needs:

- Local Warranty Devices: These devices come with fully paid fees, and you won’t need to pay anything extra after purchase.
- International Devices (without local warranty): These may not have their fees paid, but for some products, we offer a fees-paid version at a discounted price.

Will I Need to Pay Anything Later If I Choose a Fees-Paid Device?
No. If you choose the fees-paid version, the price displayed on the website includes all government fees. No additional payments or steps are required.

What’s the Difference Between a Fees-Paid and a Non-Paid Device?
- Fees-Paid: Ready for immediate use in Egypt. No further actions or payments required.
- Not Paid: Works for 90 days only in Egypt, after which you’ll need to pay the activation fee via the Telephony app to avoid service interruption.

How Do I Know If a Device Has the Fees Paid? The fee status is clearly mentioned on each product page—either in the product description or among the available purchase options.

What Is the Value of the Fees?
The fees vary depending on the device model. You can:

Contact us directly to check the fee for a specific device.
Or visit our Help Center to view the official fee values.

Who Sets the Fee Amount, and Can It Change?Fees are set by the National Telecom Regulatory Authority
Each model has a fixed amount, though the government may update values periodically.

How Do I Pay the Fees If I Choose a Device Without Paid Fees?
Fees are paid through the official “Telephony” app:

Download the app.
Enter the IMEI number of your device.
Pay using a bank card or another available payment method.

What Happens If I Don’t Pay the Fees After 90 Days?
Your device’s cellular services (calls, mobile data, SMS) will be suspended. It will only work again after the fee is paid via the app.

Can I Buy the Device Now and Pay the Fees Later?
Yes, you have a legal grace period of 90 days from the date of activation inside Egypt to pay the fee via the Telephony app.

Sony 1000X THE COLLEXION wireless headphones combine advanced noise cancelling powered by the QN3 processor and 12 microphones, studio-grade hi-res sound over LDAC, and up to 24 hours of battery, in a refined build of metal and soft leather.

The Sony 1000X THE COLLEXION is the most elevated model in the 1000X family, arriving to mark ten years of the series. Sound comes from a bespoke 30mm driver with a carbon-composite dome, co-tuned with award-winning mastering engineers to deliver balanced lows, natural vocals, clear highs, precise separation and a wide soundstage.

Noise cancelling runs on the HD Noise Cancelling Processor QN3 and the Integrated Processor V3 with 12 microphones that optimise cancellation in real time, plus the Adaptive NC Optimizer that adjusts to your surroundings, air pressure and fit. For calls, a six-microphone AI beamforming system with Precise Voice Pickup focuses on your voice and filters out background noise. The listening experience expands through 360 Reality Audio Upmix with Music, Cinema and Game modes, while DSEE Ultimate restores detail to compressed files, and LDAC carries high-resolution audio both wired and wirelessl

Product FAQs

What sets the Sony 1000X THE COLLEXION apart within the 1000X series?
The 1000X THE COLLEXION is a distinct, more elevated model in the 1000X family, launched to mark ten years of the series, and it is not a replacement for the WH-1000XM6, which continues alongside it. Its differences center on premium materials and a metal headband, a bespoke 30mm carbon-composite driver co-tuned with mastering engineers, DSEE Ultimate support, and a design that leans toward luxury and comfort.

How long does the battery last and how long does charging take?
The battery lasts up to 24 hours with noise cancelling on and up to 32 hours with it off, and a full charge takes about 3.5 hours via USB. Quick charge gives about 1.5 hours of playback from a 5-minute charge. Note that high-resolution playback over LDAC reduces runtime to around 16 hours with noise cancelling on.

Is a charging cable included in the box?
No, a charging cable and power adapter are not included. The box contains only the 3.5mm audio cable, so you will need your own USB-C cable and charger.

Can I listen wired, and does the USB-C port carry audio?
You can listen wired through the included 3.5mm cable, though the headphones must be powered on during a wired connection. The USB-C port is for charging only and does not support digital audio playback.

What noise cancelling technology is used?
Noise cancelling relies on the HD Noise Cancelling Processor QN3 and the Integrated Processor V3 with 12 microphones that optimise cancellation in real time, plus the Adaptive NC Optimizer that adapts to your environment and fit.

Do they support hi-res audio, and which Bluetooth codecs?
Yes, they support Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless over LDAC, and run Bluetooth 6.0 with SBC, AAC, LDAC and LC3 codecs, plus LE Audio and Auracast.

Can they connect to two devices at the same time?
Yes, they support multipoint connection to two devices at once, making it easy to switch between a phone, tablet or laptop without re-pairing.

Are they water or sweat resistant?
No, the headphones do not carry an IP water or dust resistance rating, so it is best to avoid using them in rain, very humid conditions, or during heavy-sweat workouts.

How good is call quality?
Calls use a six-microphone AI beamforming system with Precise Voice Pickup Technology, isolating your voice from background noise so you stay clear even in busy places.

What colors are available and how much do they weigh?
They come in Black and Platinum and weigh approximately 320g. Please check the product page to confirm the available color.
