What Are Mobile Phone Activation Fees in Egypt?
As of January 2025, customs and tax fees are applied to mobile phones imported from abroad. These are officially referred to as “Phone Activation Fees.”
These fees are paid once only, calculated at approximately 38.5% of the device’s value, and must be paid through the official "Telephony" app within 90 days of activating the device in Egypt.
Do All Devices on Your Website Include These Fees?

No. At Ennap.com, we provide two clear options depending on your needs:

- Local Warranty Devices: These devices come with fully paid fees, and you won’t need to pay anything extra after purchase.
- International Devices (without local warranty): These may not have their fees paid, but for some products, we offer a fees-paid version at a discounted price.
Will I Need to Pay Anything Later If I Choose a Fees-Paid Device?
No. If you choose the fees-paid version, the price displayed on the website includes all government fees. No additional payments or steps are required.
What’s the Difference Between a Fees-Paid and a Non-Paid Device?
- Fees-Paid: Ready for immediate use in Egypt. No further actions or payments required.
- Not Paid: Works for 90 days only in Egypt, after which you’ll need to pay the activation fee via the Telephony app to avoid service interruption.

How Do I Know If a Device Has the Fees Paid? The fee status is clearly mentioned on each product page—either in the product description or among the available purchase options.

What Is the Value of the Fees?
The fees vary depending on the device model. You can:

  • Contact us directly to check the fee for a specific device.
  • Or visit our Help Center to view the official fee values.

Who Sets the Fee Amount, and Can It Change?Fees are set by the National Telecom Regulatory Authority
Each model has a fixed amount, though the government may update values periodically.

How Do I Pay the Fees If I Choose a Device Without Paid Fees?
Fees are paid through the official “Telephony” app:

  1. Download the app.
  2. Enter the IMEI number of your device.
  3. Pay using a bank card or another available payment method.

What Happens If I Don’t Pay the Fees After 90 Days?
Your device’s cellular services (calls, mobile data, SMS) will be suspended. It will only work again after the fee is paid via the app.

Can I Buy the Device Now and Pay the Fees Later?
Yes, you have a legal grace period of 90 days from the date of activation inside Egypt to pay the fee via the Telephony app.

Product Details

Xiaomi 17 Ultra is built for one clear priority: camera performance above everything else. The triple Leica camera system leads with a full 1-inch main sensor and a Summilux APO lens at f/1.67, paired with a mechanical telephoto lens reaching 200 megapixels with a 75-100mm focal range, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. The 6.9-inch HyperRGB OLED display reaches up to 3500 nits of brightness with a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering accurate, vivid color across all content. Power comes from the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset on a 3nm process with a 3D Dual-Channel IceLoop cooling system for sustained performance, backed by a 6000mAh battery supporting 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. The phone supports dual SIM with full 5G connectivity, along with an IP68 rating for water resistance up to 6 meters.

Key Features :
  • Leica Camera with Full 1-Inch Main Sensor: The main camera uses a Light Fusion 1050L sensor at a full 1-inch size, paired with a VARIO-APO-SUMMILUX lens at f/1.67 and Super Pixel binning technology (3.2μm), delivering exceptional low-light performance and finely detailed shots in every condition.
  • 200MP Leica Telephoto with 75-100mm Focal Range: A mechanical zoom lens using a Samsung HPE sensor (1/1.4") with 16-in-1 pixel binning (2.24μm), enabling variable optical zoom between 75mm and 100mm, plus digital zoom up to 120x. This level of telephoto capability is rare in the flagship category and provides genuine flexibility for distant subjects without significant quality loss.
  • 50MP Ultra-Wide Camera with 115° Field of View: Built on a Samsung JN5 sensor (1/2.75"), suited for capturing expansive landscapes and large group shots without needing to step back.
  • Professional Video Recording Up to 8K30fps with Dolby Vision: The phone records 8K at 30fps and 4K at up to 120fps with Dolby Vision support, along with Log video recording up to 4K/120fps using the ACES color system for professional grading, and slow-motion recording up to 1920fps at 1080p.
  • 6.9-Inch HyperRGB OLED Display at 3500 Nits: A resolution of 2608×1200 pixels using Xiaomi HyperRGB technology, with a dynamic refresh rate from 1 to 120Hz and full DCI-P3 color gamut coverage at 12-bit color depth. The display holds three TÜV Rheinland certifications for visual comfort (Low Blue Light, Flicker Free, and Circadian Friendly).
  • Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with 3D Dual-Channel IceLoop Cooling: An advanced dual-channel cooling system maintains sustained performance during heavy gaming and intensive tasks over longer sessions without significant throttling.
  • 6000mAh Battery with 90W Wired and 50W Wireless Charging: Despite the large display and advanced camera system, the phone retains a substantial battery with fast charging supporting QC3+, PD3.0, and PPS standards, plus wired and wireless reverse charging.
  • Full Xiaomi HyperAI Integration: A suite of AI tools including smart writing, speech recognition, live translation, intelligent search, and AI-generated dynamic wallpapers, alongside built-in Circle to Search with Google and Google Gemini.
  • IP68 Water Resistance Up to 6 Meters: A stronger rating than typical for the flagship category, withstanding submersion in static fresh water up to 6 meters for up to 30 minutes under specific laboratory test conditions.
  • Ultrasonic In-Screen Fingerprint Sensor and AI Face Unlock: Two layers of biometric security for quick, secure access, with the ultrasonic sensor offering better real-world performance than standard optical sensors.
