It is factory-overclocked: 1867 MHz in OC mode and 1837 MHz in gaming mode, switchable in the GPU Tweak II software rather than by flashing anything. What power supply do I need?
The recommended power supply for a system built around this card is 650W, based on a fully overclocked GPU and CPU. The card draws power through a single 8-pin connector, which any standard power supply already has.

Will it fit my case?
The card measures 200 x 123 x 38 mm and takes up 2 slots. Check your case specification for maximum graphics card length and the number of free expansion slots before ordering - length is the figure that catches most people out.

Does it work in a PCIe 3.0 motherboard?
Yes. The card uses PCI Express 4.0 and the standard is backward compatible, so it runs in a PCIe 3.0 slot. On the older slot the available bandwidth is lower, but the card works.

This is the only RTX 3060 we carry. Do I need to install drivers?
Yes. Install the official GeForce driver from NVIDIA after fitting the card. Windows may load a basic display driver on its own, but the full driver is what enables the card's features and the per-game optimisations.

Does it support ray tracing and DLSS?
Yes. This is a GeForce RTX card, so ray tracing and DLSS are supported; which of them a given title actually uses is set from that game's own graphics options.

What software is it used with?
ASUS GPU Tweak II for clock, fan curve and monitoring, and the GeForce Game Ready Driver or Studio Driver depending on whether the machine is used mainly for games or for creative work. All of it is downloaded, not supplied on a disc.
