Product Details

The ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5090 OC Edition 32GB GDDR7 pairs an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 with 32GB GDDR7 on a 512-bit bus, a 2437 MHz boost clock in OC mode and a PCI Express 5.0 interface.

The ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5090 32GB GDDR7 is built around the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 with 21760 CUDA cores and 3352 AI TOPS. It is factory-overclocked: 2437 MHz in OC mode and 2407 MHz as the default boost clock, switchable in the GPU Tweak III software rather than by flashing anything. Memory is 32GB GDDR7 running at 28 Gbps across a 512-bit interface, and the card connects over PCI Express 5.0.

Display output is two HDMI 2.1b outputs and three DisplayPort 2.1b outputs with HDCP 2.3, driving up to four screens at once and a maximum digital resolution of 7680x4320. DisplayPort 2.1b is the part that matters for a high-refresh monitor bought today, because it carries more bandwidth than the older DisplayPort 1.4 that earlier cards used.

Physically the card measures 348 x 146 x 72 mm and occupies 3.6 slots, so measure your case before ordering. Power comes through a single 16-pin connector and the recommended power supply is 1000W; a 1 to 4 adapter cable is included in the box for power supplies that do not have a native 16-pin cable. The card is Aura Sync compatible with addressable RGB lighting.

ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5090 32GB GDDR7 Key Features:

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 with 21760 CUDA cores - rated at 3352 AI TOPS for the AI-accelerated features games and creative applications increasingly rely on.
32GB GDDR7 on a 512-bit bus at 28 Gbps - the memory headroom that keeps high-resolution textures resident instead of streaming them in mid-scene.
Factory overclocked to 2437 MHz - OC mode out of the box, with 2407 MHz as the default boost clock; you switch between them in ASUS GPU Tweak III.
PCI Express 5.0 interface - and it stays backward compatible, so it works in a PCIe 4.0 or 3.0 motherboard slot.
Two HDMI 2.1b outputs and three DisplayPort 2.1b outputs - with HDCP 2.3 and support for up to four displays at once.
Maximum digital resolution of 7680x4320 - enough headroom for an 8K panel or a multi-monitor wall.
348 x 146 x 72 mm across 3.6 slots - the exact figures to check against your case clearance before you order.
1000W recommended power supply - through a single 16-pin connector, with the 1 to 4 adapter cable supplied.
Aura Sync addressable RGB - lighting that matches the rest of the build rather than sitting on its own timing.
ASUS GPU Tweak III - clock, fan curve and monitoring from one utility, with the OC and default modes one click apart.

Product FAQs

What power supply do I need?
The recommended power supply for a system built around this card is 1000W, based on a fully overclocked GPU and CPU. The card draws power through a single 16-pin connector.

Does it come with a power adapter cable?
Yes. A 1 to 4 adapter cable is included in the box, so the card works with a power supply that has no native 16-pin cable. If your power supply already has a 16-pin cable, use that one instead.

Will it fit my case?
The card measures 348 x 146 x 72 mm and takes up 3.6 slots. Check your case specification for maximum graphics card length and the number of free expansion slots before ordering - length is the figure that catches most people out.

Does it work in a PCIe 4.0 motherboard?
Yes. The card uses PCI Express 5.0 and the standard is backward compatible, so it runs in a PCIe 4.0 or PCIe 3.0 slot. On an older slot the available bandwidth is lower, but the card works.

How many monitors can I connect?
Four at once. The outputs are two HDMI 2.1b and three DisplayPort 2.1b, with HDCP 2.3 support and a maximum digital resolution of 7680x4320.

What is the difference between OC mode and default mode?
OC mode raises the boost clock from 2407 MHz to 2437 MHz. Both modes are set at the factory and you switch between them inside ASUS GPU Tweak III, with no BIOS flashing involved.

Does it have RGB lighting?
Yes. The card carries addressable RGB lighting and is Aura Sync compatible, so it lights in step with the rest of the build instead of running on its own timing.

How is it different from the other ASUS versions of the same GPU?
The graphics processor is the same in every version - what changes is the cooler, the size, the factory clock and the lighting. The RTX 5090 comes in more than one line; this page is the TUF Gaming model.

Do I need to install drivers?
Yes. Install the official GeForce driver from NVIDIA after fitting the card. Windows may load a basic display driver on its own, but the full driver is what enables the card's features and the per-game optimisations.

Does it support ray tracing and DLSS?
Yes. This is a GeForce RTX card, so ray tracing and DLSS are supported; which of them a given title actually uses is set from that game's own graphics options.
