What Are Mobile Phone Activation Fees in Egypt?
As of January 2025, customs and tax fees are applied to mobile phones imported from abroad. These are officially referred to as “Phone Activation Fees.”
These fees are paid once only, calculated at approximately 38.5% of the device’s value, and must be paid through the official "Telephony" app within 90 days of activating the device in Egypt.
Do All Devices on Your Website Include These Fees?

No. At Ennap.com, we provide two clear options depending on your needs:

- Local Warranty Devices: These devices come with fully paid fees, and you won’t need to pay anything extra after purchase.
- International Devices (without local warranty): These may not have their fees paid, but for some products, we offer a fees-paid version at a discounted price.
Will I Need to Pay Anything Later If I Choose a Fees-Paid Device?
No. If you choose the fees-paid version, the price displayed on the website includes all government fees. No additional payments or steps are required.
What’s the Difference Between a Fees-Paid and a Non-Paid Device?
- Fees-Paid: Ready for immediate use in Egypt. No further actions or payments required.
- Not Paid: Works for 90 days only in Egypt, after which you’ll need to pay the activation fee via the Telephony app to avoid service interruption.

How Do I Know If a Device Has the Fees Paid? The fee status is clearly mentioned on each product page—either in the product description or among the available purchase options.

What Is the Value of the Fees?
The fees vary depending on the device model. You can:

  • Contact us directly to check the fee for a specific device.
  • Or visit our Help Center to view the official fee values.

Who Sets the Fee Amount, and Can It Change?Fees are set by the National Telecom Regulatory Authority
Each model has a fixed amount, though the government may update values periodically.

How Do I Pay the Fees If I Choose a Device Without Paid Fees?
Fees are paid through the official “Telephony” app:

  1. Download the app.
  2. Enter the IMEI number of your device.
  3. Pay using a bank card or another available payment method.

What Happens If I Don’t Pay the Fees After 90 Days?
Your device’s cellular services (calls, mobile data, SMS) will be suspended. It will only work again after the fee is paid via the app.

Can I Buy the Device Now and Pay the Fees Later?
Yes, you have a legal grace period of 90 days from the date of activation inside Egypt to pay the fee via the Telephony app.

Product Details

The eufy SmartTrack Link for Android is a 10 g tracker for keys and bags that works with Google Find Hub, rings up to 80 dB and runs up to a year on a replaceable CR2032 battery.

eufy SmartTrack Link for Android Key Features:

  • Made for Android and Google Find Hub: add the tag to the Find Hub app (shown as Find My Device on some phones) on Android 9 or later, and the Find Hub network helps you locate your keys or bag after you have walked away from them.
  • A sound you can follow: when the keys are under a cushion or at the bottom of a bag, ring the tag from your phone and follow a sound of up to 80 dB straight to it.
  • Press the tag to find your phone: lost the phone instead? Press the button on the SmartTrack Link and your phone rings. This works through the eufy app with location access set to Always.
  • Left-behind alerts: walk out of a café without your bag and the eufy app sends a notification about three minutes after you leave Bluetooth range; the exact timing depends on your surroundings.
  • QR code for whoever finds it: the back of the tag carries a QR code. When you register the tag in the eufy app and switch on lost mode, anyone who finds your item can scan it to contact you.
  • Up to a year on one coin battery: a replaceable CR2032 battery lasts up to 1 year, so when it runs down you swap the battery and keep the same tracker.
  • Ready for light rain: IPX4 protection handles splashes and light rain on your key ring or backpack strap. Keep it out of water, because submersion can damage it.
  • Small enough for any key ring: about 37 × 37 × 6.5 mm and 10 g, with a built-in hole that threads onto a key ring or bag loop. The key ring itself is not included.
  • No subscription: finding your items costs nothing extra after purchase, with no monthly fee for the tracker or the app.
