What Are Mobile Phone Activation Fees in Egypt?
As of January 2025, customs and tax fees are applied to mobile phones imported from abroad. These are officially referred to as “Phone Activation Fees.”
These fees are paid once only, calculated at approximately 38.5% of the device’s value, and must be paid through the official "Telephony" app within 90 days of activating the device in Egypt.

Do All Devices on Your Website Include These Fees?

No. At Ennap.com, we provide two clear options depending on your needs:

- Local Warranty Devices: These devices come with fully paid fees, and you won’t need to pay anything extra after purchase.
- International Devices (without local warranty): These may not have their fees paid, but for some products, we offer a fees-paid version at a discounted price.

Will I Need to Pay Anything Later If I Choose a Fees-Paid Device?
No. If you choose the fees-paid version, the price displayed on the website includes all government fees. No additional payments or steps are required.

What’s the Difference Between a Fees-Paid and a Non-Paid Device?
- Fees-Paid: Ready for immediate use in Egypt. No further actions or payments required.
- Not Paid: Works for 90 days only in Egypt, after which you’ll need to pay the activation fee via the Telephony app to avoid service interruption.

How Do I Know If a Device Has the Fees Paid? The fee status is clearly mentioned on each product page—either in the product description or among the available purchase options.

What Is the Value of the Fees?
The fees vary depending on the device model. You can:

Contact us directly to check the fee for a specific device.
Or visit our Help Center to view the official fee values.

Who Sets the Fee Amount, and Can It Change?Fees are set by the National Telecom Regulatory Authority
Each model has a fixed amount, though the government may update values periodically.

How Do I Pay the Fees If I Choose a Device Without Paid Fees?
Fees are paid through the official “Telephony” app:

Download the app.
Enter the IMEI number of your device.
Pay using a bank card or another available payment method.

What Happens If I Don’t Pay the Fees After 90 Days?
Your device’s cellular services (calls, mobile data, SMS) will be suspended. It will only work again after the fee is paid via the app.

Can I Buy the Device Now and Pay the Fees Later?
Yes, you have a legal grace period of 90 days from the date of activation inside Egypt to pay the fee via the Telephony app.

Smart Speakers & Displays Google

Product Details

Google Home Speaker is a smart speaker built around Gemini for Home, delivering 360° omnidirectional audio and natural, free-flowing voice conversations, and acting as a Matter hub through the Google Home app.

Designed as the first audio device built specifically for Gemini for Home, the Google Home Speaker uses custom on-device processing to handle natural language understanding, background-noise suppression, and echo cancellation, so it responds as if you were talking to a real person. It supports multi-step conversations that follow the context of what you just said without you having to repeat yourself, and it keeps the microphone open briefly after replying so you can ask a follow-up without saying the wake word again. A 58 mm full-range driver with omnidirectional tuning fills the room with balanced sound from every direction, and you can pair two speakers or connect them to a Google TV Streamer for a surround-sound home-theater setup. A light ring on the base gives clear visual feedback for when the assistant is listening, thinking, or responding. It all sits inside a 3D-woven fabric design, with a physical microphone mute switch for anyone who prioritizes privacy.

Google Home Speaker Key Features:

Gemini for Home with natural conversations — Understands everyday language and complex, multi-part requests, and remembers context so you can switch topics or interrupt with follow-ups without starting over.

360° omnidirectional audio — A 58 mm full-range driver with omnidirectional tuning spreads balanced sound in every direction, so listening quality doesn't depend on where you sit.

Stereo pairing and home theater — Pair two speakers for wider stereo, or connect them to a Google TV Streamer to turn your TV into a full surround-sound system.

Matter hub with Thread border router — Works as a Matter hub through Google Home and includes a Thread border router for reliable control of compatible smart-home devices.

Modern, fast connectivity — Wi-Fi 6 on both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands plus Bluetooth 5.4 for a stable stream and wider in-home coverage.

Interactive light ring — A base light gives real-time visual feedback that shows the assistant's state as it listens, processes, and responds.

Touch control and Voice Match — Three capacitive touch areas for playback and volume, with Voice Match to recognize your voice and give you personalized results.

Privacy with a physical switch — A two-stage microphone mute switch electrically disconnects the mics whenever you want.

Sustainable design — Made with at least 37% recycled materials by product weight, in 100% plastic-free packaging.

Frequently asked questions

What does international warranty mean?

The product was imported from outside Egypt through an importer, not through the product's local agent.

Why is the warranty period only 100 days?

Imported devices normally come without a warranty, but we give you 100 days to fully test and try the product.

Why doesn't the product come with a one-year warranty?

The product may not be available through a local agent at all, or not at the moment, so it is supplied from abroad with our 100-day warranty to give you peace of mind and the best experience.

When does the warranty start and how is it activated?

The warranty starts on the purchase date and we activate it automatically from that date.

What if the product is damaged by misuse, such as a broken screen, and what about spare parts?

We have a full maintenance department for all products and provide most spare parts for products sold with an international warranty. You can submit a maintenance request here. You can also service the product through the product's agent or other service centers if they have the spare parts.

What happens after the warranty period ends?

You can have the product repaired through our maintenance department by submitting a maintenance request, or at trusted service centres across Egypt.

Product FAQs

Common questions

Does the speaker need a paid subscription to work?
No. Core Gemini for Home functions and smart-home control work without a subscription. Some advanced experiences, such as the fuller Gemini Live, are tied to a Google Home Premium subscription, but everyday use remains available without it.

What's new versus the previous Nest Audio?
The biggest change is moving from Google Assistant to Gemini for Home with natural, multi-step conversations, plus 360° omnidirectional audio, working as a Matter hub with a Thread border router, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4, and the option to pair with a Google TV Streamer for home theater.

Can I pair two speakers together?
Yes. Two speakers can be paired for wider stereo sound, and they can also connect to a Google TV Streamer to build a surround-sound setup for your TV.

Does it have a battery?
No. The speaker runs plugged into power via its captive cable and the included USB-C adapter; it is not battery-powered or portable.

Which colors are available?
It comes in four colors: Berry, Porcelain, Hazel, and Jade. Specific color availability may vary by the stock on hand.

Does it work as a smart-home hub?
Yes. It acts as a Matter hub through the Google Home app and includes a Thread border router to connect and control compatible smart-home devices.

What app do I need to set it up?
It's managed through the Google Home app on iOS and Android, and requires a Google Account and a Wi-Fi network with internet.

Is there a physical microphone mute button?
Yes. A two-stage mute switch physically disconnects the microphones for added privacy when you want it.

Does it support Bluetooth?
