What Are Mobile Phone Activation Fees in Egypt?
As of January 2025, customs and tax fees are applied to mobile phones imported from abroad. These are officially referred to as “Phone Activation Fees.”
These fees are paid once only, calculated at approximately 38.5% of the device’s value, and must be paid through the official "Telephony" app within 90 days of activating the device in Egypt.
Do All Devices on Your Website Include These Fees?

No. At Ennap.com, we provide two clear options depending on your needs:

- Local Warranty Devices: These devices come with fully paid fees, and you won’t need to pay anything extra after purchase.
- International Devices (without local warranty): These may not have their fees paid, but for some products, we offer a fees-paid version at a discounted price.
Will I Need to Pay Anything Later If I Choose a Fees-Paid Device?
No. If you choose the fees-paid version, the price displayed on the website includes all government fees. No additional payments or steps are required.
What’s the Difference Between a Fees-Paid and a Non-Paid Device?
- Fees-Paid: Ready for immediate use in Egypt. No further actions or payments required.
- Not Paid: Works for 90 days only in Egypt, after which you’ll need to pay the activation fee via the Telephony app to avoid service interruption.

How Do I Know If a Device Has the Fees Paid? The fee status is clearly mentioned on each product page—either in the product description or among the available purchase options.

What Is the Value of the Fees?
The fees vary depending on the device model. You can:

  • Contact us directly to check the fee for a specific device.
  • Or visit our Help Center to view the official fee values.

Who Sets the Fee Amount, and Can It Change?Fees are set by the National Telecom Regulatory Authority
Each model has a fixed amount, though the government may update values periodically.

How Do I Pay the Fees If I Choose a Device Without Paid Fees?
Fees are paid through the official “Telephony” app:

  1. Download the app.
  2. Enter the IMEI number of your device.
  3. Pay using a bank card or another available payment method.

What Happens If I Don’t Pay the Fees After 90 Days?
Your device’s cellular services (calls, mobile data, SMS) will be suspended. It will only work again after the fee is paid via the app.

Can I Buy the Device Now and Pay the Fees Later?
Yes, you have a legal grace period of 90 days from the date of activation inside Egypt to pay the fee via the Telephony app.

Product Details

The iQibla Qwatch A2 is a 4G Islamic smart watch for kids with an electronic fence for safe zones, an SOS button, voice and HD video calls and reminders for the five daily prayers.

iQibla Qwatch A2 kids smart watch in Blue, Pink and Black beside a boy on a prayer mat

Safe zones and SOS for peace of mind
With the electronic fence, you set safe zones such as home and school to help keep your child away from danger. If something goes wrong, your child presses SOS on the watch to ask for help straight away, and the watch stays connected on 2G and 4G networks wherever the day takes them, so your child can reach you without a phone.

Calls and video calls straight from the wrist
Your child can call you when school is over or pick up when you call, without carrying a phone. The Qwatch A2 works on 2G and 4G networks and makes voice calls and HD video calls, so you see your child's face while you talk, wherever the day takes them. iQibla built the connection for clear, stable video calls, so the conversation does not keep breaking up.

Two black iQibla Qwatch A2 watches showing the call and video call icons on a 2G and 4G background

A reminder for every prayer
When a prayer time comes in, the watch reminds your child on its own with an Azan reminder, for all five daily prayers. Prayer turns into a routine your child keeps without you calling out each time, and the habit grows quietly from one day to the next.

Fajr prayer time on the pink iQibla Qwatch A2 beside a mosque arch

A tasbih counter for dhikr after salah
After prayer, your child counts dhikr on the built-in Tasbih counter instead of on their fingers, so the count is never lost and attention stays on the words being said.

iQibla Qwatch A2 Key Features:

  • Electronic fence: set safe zones such as home and school to help keep your child away from danger.
  • SOS button: in an emergency your child presses SOS to ask for help promptly.
  • 2G and 4G network: the watch connects to the mobile network on its own, so your child can reach you without a phone in their pocket.
  • Voice and HD video calls: talk to your child or see them on a video call, with a clear and stable connection through the call.
  • Prayer time reminders: the watch reminds your child of all five daily prayers automatically, which helps build a steady prayer routine.
  • Azan reminders: accurate reminders at each prayer time help your child pray on time and grow a sense of reverence for Allah.
  • Tasbih counter: your child keeps count of dhikr and recitation on the wrist and stays focused on the worship itself.
  • Call, message and app notifications: alerts for calls, messages and apps show on the watch screen at a glance.
  • IP67 water resistance: splashes and water during wudu do not harm the watch, so your child can keep it on before prayer.
  • Three colours: Black, Blue and Pink, each with a matching strap. Choose the colour you want from the product options before completing your order.
