The Lenovo L27-4e is a 27-inch Full HD IPS monitor with a 100Hz refresh rate, 99% sRGB colour coverage and a 3-side NearEdgeless panel for everyday work at a desk.

The Lenovo L27-4e is built for the desk that runs all day rather than for frame counts. The panel is a 27-inch 3-side NearEdgeless IPS at 1920 x 1080, and the 100Hz refresh rate is what separates it from the 60Hz screens in the same class - scrolling, window dragging and cursor movement all look smoother without changing anything on the computer side.

Colour is 99% sRGB at 8-bit (6-bit plus FRC) for 16.7 million colours, with 300 cd per square metre of brightness, a 1500:1 static contrast ratio and 178 degree viewing angles horizontally and vertically, so the image holds up for anyone reading it from the side.

Response time is 4ms in Extreme mode and 6ms in Normal mode, which is enough for casual play alongside the work the monitor is bought for.

Inputs are one HDMI 1.4 and one VGA. The HDMI port is the one that carries 1920 x 1080 at 100Hz, while the VGA port keeps an older desktop or a meeting room projector connectable. There is no USB hub, no DisplayPort and no built-in speakers, so plan audio through the computer.

The stand tilts from -5 to +22 degrees, and the panel takes a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount if you want height, swivel or a desk arm. A Kensington Nano Security Slot is built in for a lock.
