LENOVO LOQ 15ARP9 Gaming Laptop - AMD Ryzen 5 7235HS, 16GB DDR5, 512GB SSD, NVIDIA RTX 3050 6GB, 15.6-inch FHD 144Hz, Win11 - 2Years Warranty

The LENOVO LOQ 15ARP9 pairs an AMD Ryzen 5 7235HS with a 95W NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 6GB and a 15.6-inch FHD 144Hz G-SYNC display, backed by 16GB DDR5 and a 512GB SSD.

At the centre of the LENOVO LOQ 15ARP9 is the AMD Ryzen 5 7235HS, a 4-core, 8-thread processor running from a 3.2GHz base up to 4.2GHz, with 2MB of L2 and 8MB of L3 cache. Graphics come from the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU with 6GB of GDDR6 at a 1732MHz boost clock and a 95W total graphics power - the figure that decides how much of the card you actually get, and a high setting for this GPU. Being a GeForce RTX card, it brings ray tracing and DLSS to the games that support them.

The display is a 15.6-inch FHD 1920x1080 IPS panel at 144Hz and 300 nits, anti-glare, with 100% sRGB coverage and NVIDIA G-SYNC to remove tearing in fast scenes. It fills 88% of the lid.

Memory is 16GB of DDR5-4800 as two 8GB modules, so it runs in dual channel from the start rather than on a single stick - and the machine takes up to 32GB if you replace them later. Storage is a 512GB PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD in one of two M.2 2280 slots, so a second drive goes in without removing the first. It ships with Windows 11 Home Single Language carrying both Arabic and English.

Typing is handled by a white-backlit keyboard with a numeric keypad, next to a 75x120mm buttonless precision touchpad. Sound runs through stereo 2W speakers tuned with Nahimic Audio and a dual-microphone array, and the 720p camera has a physical E-shutter.

Ports are three USB-A at 5Gbps and one USB-C at 10Gbps carrying DisplayPort 1.4 and Lenovo Power Delivery up to 140W, alongside HDMI 2.1 good for 8K at 60fps, a gigabit Ethernet jack, a 3.5mm combo audio jack and a slim-tip power connector. Wireless is Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) 2x2 with Bluetooth 5.2. Power comes from a 60Wh battery with Rapid Charge Pro, which reaches 50% in half an hour, and a 170W slim-tip adapter. The chassis measures 359.86x258.7x21.9-23.9 mm, starts at 2.38kg, and is finished in Luna Grey PC-ABS. Firmware TPM 2.0 is enabled, and the laptop carries a two-year warranty.

LENOVO LOQ 15ARP9 Key Features:

• AMD Ryzen 5 7235HS with 4 cores and 8 threads - a 3.2GHz base rising to 4.2GHz, enough headroom for the game and a browser or a stream running beside it.
• NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 6GB GDDR6 at 95W - a 1732MHz boost clock at a high power setting for this GPU, with ray tracing and DLSS in the titles that support them.
• 15.6-inch FHD 144Hz IPS display with G-SYNC - 300 nits, anti-glare, 100% sRGB and variable refresh that removes tearing, across 88% of the lid.
• 16GB DDR5-4800 in dual channel - two 8GB modules rather than one 16GB stick, so the memory runs at full width from the first boot, with room to reach 32GB later.
• 512GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD plus a spare M.2 2280 slot - fast level loading now, and a second drive later without taking the first one out.
• Windows 11 Home Single Language in Arabic and English - both interface languages are on the machine, so you choose which one to run without buying anything extra.
• USB-C with DisplayPort 1.4 and Lenovo Power Delivery up to 140W - an external screen or a dock on a single cable, and charging from a compatible USB-C supply.
• HDMI 2.1 at 8K 60fps and gigabit Ethernet - a high-refresh external monitor on one side and a wired connection that keeps latency steady when Wi-Fi is crowded.
• Three USB-A ports - keyboard, mouse and headset stay plugged in without a hub.
• Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) 2x2 with Bluetooth 5.2 - dual-band wireless with two antennas, and Bluetooth for a headset and a mouse at the same time.
• 60Wh battery with Rapid Charge Pro and a 170W adapter - 50% charge in half an hour, on an adapter sized for the 95W GPU.
• 720p camera with a physical E-shutter - a mechanical cover for the lens rather than a software toggle.
• Two-year warranty - covered from purchase, on a Luna Grey chassis starting at 2.38kg.
