MSI Modern MD342CQP is a 34-inch 1500R curved VA monitor with UWQHD 3440 x 1440 resolution, 120Hz, USB-C with 98W charging, KVM and built-in speakers.
The MSI Modern MD342CQP gives you a 34-inch 21:9 ultrawide screen at 3440 x 1440 (UWQHD), about a third more width than a standard 16:9 monitor. Two full documents sit side by side, a video timeline shows more tracks, and spreadsheets show more columns without scrolling.
The 1500R curve wraps the screen around your field of view, so the edges stay at a comfortable distance and angle from your eyes. The VA panel delivers a 3500:1 contrast ratio, 300 nits of brightness, 1.07 billion colours with 10-bit processing (8-bit + FRC) and colour coverage of 119% sRGB, 95% DCI-P3 and 92% Adobe RGB, behind an anti-glare surface.
A single USB-C cable with DisplayPort Alt Mode and 98W Power Delivery carries the picture from a compatible laptop and charges it at the same time. Add the KVM function and one keyboard and mouse, connected to the monitor's USB ports, control the devices plugged into it, so switching between a work laptop and a desktop takes a menu setting instead of swapping cables.
Picture-in-Picture (PIP) places a small window from a second source over the main image, and Picture-by-Picture (PBP) splits the screen so two sources sit side by side. With two HDMI 2.0b ports, one DisplayPort 1.4a and the USB-C input, a PC, a laptop and a console can all stay connected.
For play and video, the 120Hz refresh rate with 1ms (MPRT) response and AMD FreeSync Premium keeps motion smooth and tear-free, and the monitor is HDR Ready. MSI rates it for light gaming, and it works with PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox, phones and laptops.
Long days at the desk are easier on the eyes and the neck. The display is TÜV certified, MSI EyesErgo with anti-flicker technology helps reduce eye strain, and Eye-Q Check offers quick self-checks and reminds you to take breaks. The stand adjusts in height by 110 mm, tilts from -5 to 20 degrees and swivels 30 degrees each way, and a removable cable cover keeps the desk tidy.
