What Are Mobile Phone Activation Fees in Egypt?
As of January 2025, customs and tax fees are applied to mobile phones imported from abroad. These are officially referred to as “Phone Activation Fees.”
These fees are paid once only, calculated at approximately 38.5% of the device’s value, and must be paid through the official "Telephony" app within 90 days of activating the device in Egypt.
Do All Devices on Your Website Include These Fees?

No. At Ennap.com, we provide two clear options depending on your needs:

- Local Warranty Devices: These devices come with fully paid fees, and you won’t need to pay anything extra after purchase.
- International Devices (without local warranty): These may not have their fees paid, but for some products, we offer a fees-paid version at a discounted price.
Will I Need to Pay Anything Later If I Choose a Fees-Paid Device?
No. If you choose the fees-paid version, the price displayed on the website includes all government fees. No additional payments or steps are required.
What’s the Difference Between a Fees-Paid and a Non-Paid Device?
- Fees-Paid: Ready for immediate use in Egypt. No further actions or payments required.
- Not Paid: Works for 90 days only in Egypt, after which you’ll need to pay the activation fee via the Telephony app to avoid service interruption.

How Do I Know If a Device Has the Fees Paid? The fee status is clearly mentioned on each product page—either in the product description or among the available purchase options.

What Is the Value of the Fees?
The fees vary depending on the device model. You can:

  • Contact us directly to check the fee for a specific device.
  • Or visit our Help Center to view the official fee values.

Who Sets the Fee Amount, and Can It Change?Fees are set by the National Telecom Regulatory Authority
Each model has a fixed amount, though the government may update values periodically.

How Do I Pay the Fees If I Choose a Device Without Paid Fees?
Fees are paid through the official “Telephony” app:

  1. Download the app.
  2. Enter the IMEI number of your device.
  3. Pay using a bank card or another available payment method.

What Happens If I Don’t Pay the Fees After 90 Days?
Your device’s cellular services (calls, mobile data, SMS) will be suspended. It will only work again after the fee is paid via the app.

Can I Buy the Device Now and Pay the Fees Later?
Yes, you have a legal grace period of 90 days from the date of activation inside Egypt to pay the fee via the Telephony app.

Product Details

The Rapoo V500PRO-87 is a compact 87-key wired mechanical gaming keyboard with Rapoo Blue switches, a detachable magnetic top cover, RGB side light strips and onboard memory.

The detachable magnetic top cover gives the keyboard two looks: keep it on for a classic frame, or remove it for a floating-key style. The 87-key layout drops the number pad for more mouse room, and this version comes in Black with an English layout.

Dual-form design of the Rapoo V500PRO-87 with detachable top cover

Rapoo Blue mechanical switches give a clicky, tactile press, with dust-proof walls on both sides of the stem to reduce wobble, and are rated for 60 million keystrokes. All 87 keys are anti-ghosting, and 86 keys are programmable, with settings saved to the onboard memory.

Backlight and RGB side light strips on the Rapoo V500PRO-87

The key backlight offers up to 20 lighting modes, and the RGB light strips on both sides add 4 more. A detachable USB cable can be routed in three directions, and the two-stage feet let you adjust the typing angle.

Three-way cable routing on the Rapoo V500PRO-87

  • Rapoo Blue mechanical switches: a clicky, tactile feel, with dust-proof stem walls to reduce wobble.
  • 60 million keystrokes: switch lifespan rated for long-term use.
  • Key backlight and RGB side strips: up to 20 backlight modes and 4 side strip modes.
  • 87-key anti-ghosting: every key registers correctly when pressed together.
  • 86 programmable keys: customise keys and save profiles to the onboard memory, with firmware updates supported.
  • 12 multimedia shortcuts: quick media controls on Windows.
