What Are Mobile Phone Activation Fees in Egypt?
As of January 2025, customs and tax fees are applied to mobile phones imported from abroad. These are officially referred to as “Phone Activation Fees.”
These fees are paid once only, calculated at approximately 38.5% of the device’s value, and must be paid through the official "Telephony" app within 90 days of activating the device in Egypt.
Do All Devices on Your Website Include These Fees?

No. At Ennap.com, we provide two clear options depending on your needs:

- Local Warranty Devices: These devices come with fully paid fees, and you won’t need to pay anything extra after purchase.
- International Devices (without local warranty): These may not have their fees paid, but for some products, we offer a fees-paid version at a discounted price.
Will I Need to Pay Anything Later If I Choose a Fees-Paid Device?
No. If you choose the fees-paid version, the price displayed on the website includes all government fees. No additional payments or steps are required.
What’s the Difference Between a Fees-Paid and a Non-Paid Device?
- Fees-Paid: Ready for immediate use in Egypt. No further actions or payments required.
- Not Paid: Works for 90 days only in Egypt, after which you’ll need to pay the activation fee via the Telephony app to avoid service interruption.

How Do I Know If a Device Has the Fees Paid? The fee status is clearly mentioned on each product page—either in the product description or among the available purchase options.

What Is the Value of the Fees?
The fees vary depending on the device model. You can:

  • Contact us directly to check the fee for a specific device.
  • Or visit our Help Center to view the official fee values.

Who Sets the Fee Amount, and Can It Change?Fees are set by the National Telecom Regulatory Authority
Each model has a fixed amount, though the government may update values periodically.

How Do I Pay the Fees If I Choose a Device Without Paid Fees?
Fees are paid through the official “Telephony” app:

  1. Download the app.
  2. Enter the IMEI number of your device.
  3. Pay using a bank card or another available payment method.

What Happens If I Don’t Pay the Fees After 90 Days?
Your device’s cellular services (calls, mobile data, SMS) will be suspended. It will only work again after the fee is paid via the app.

Can I Buy the Device Now and Pay the Fees Later?
Yes, you have a legal grace period of 90 days from the date of activation inside Egypt to pay the fee via the Telephony app.

Product Details

Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 is a 40mm smartwatch with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, a Super AMOLED display and a 390mAh battery, built to track your sleep, heart and fitness all day.

The Galaxy Watch 9 is your everyday health companion in a light, comfortable form. Its signature cushion design with the Dynamic Lug System keeps the watch close to your wrist for stable sensors and more accurate readings, while its slim 8.6mm profile makes it easy to forget you're wearing it. The Super AMOLED display is protected by scratch-resistant Sapphire glass and reaches up to 3,000 nits, staying readable in sunlight. Inside, the Snapdragon Wear Elite processor starts workout tracking instantly and launches apps smoothly, while the larger 390mAh battery cuts down on charging. The Vitals feature monitors your key signals overnight, alongside a daily Energy Score, Running Coach and heart-health tracking. It runs on Wear OS 7 with the Google Play Store and Google Gemini on your wrist.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 Key Features:

Comprehensive health tracking via the BioActive sensor: The BioActive sensor monitors heart rate, ECG, blood oxygen and skin temperature. The Vitals feature tracks your key signals during sleep to flag subtle changes before you feel them.

Advanced sleep tracking with personal coaching: The watch follows your sleep from bedtime to wake-up and offers a personalized 3-to-4-week Sleep Coaching program to build better habits, plus sleep apnea risk detection.

Daily Energy Score and fitness coaching: Each morning the Energy Score gives a clear read on your body's readiness based on your sleep and activity, while the Running Coach builds a program around your level and Daily Cardio Load balances effort with recovery.

Larger 390mAh battery: Around 20% more capacity than the previous 40mm generation, delivering up to 30 hours with Always On Display enabled and up to 40 hours with it off, reducing the need for frequent charging.

Snapdragon Wear Elite processor: The first Galaxy Watch to run on the Snapdragon Wear Elite platform, so workout tracking starts instantly, apps launch faster and navigation feels smoother.

Super AMOLED display with Sapphire glass: A 1.34-inch panel at 438×438 resolution reaching up to 3,000 nits, protected by scratch-resistant Sapphire glass for clear visibility outdoors.

Light, comfortable design: A signature cushion frame with the Dynamic Lug System and a Sport Band featuring an Air Pocket design that drains sweat and keeps your wrist dry and comfortable all day.

Google Gemini with raise-to-talk: Raise your wrist and speak to get answers and organize tasks, alongside the Google Play Store and apps such as Maps, music and messaging.
