What Are Mobile Phone Activation Fees in Egypt?
As of January 2025, customs and tax fees are applied to mobile phones imported from abroad. These are officially referred to as “Phone Activation Fees.”
These fees are paid once only, calculated at approximately 38.5% of the device’s value, and must be paid through the official "Telephony" app within 90 days of activating the device in Egypt.
Do All Devices on Your Website Include These Fees?

No. At Ennap.com, we provide two clear options depending on your needs:

- Local Warranty Devices: These devices come with fully paid fees, and you won’t need to pay anything extra after purchase.
- International Devices (without local warranty): These may not have their fees paid, but for some products, we offer a fees-paid version at a discounted price.
Will I Need to Pay Anything Later If I Choose a Fees-Paid Device?
No. If you choose the fees-paid version, the price displayed on the website includes all government fees. No additional payments or steps are required.
What’s the Difference Between a Fees-Paid and a Non-Paid Device?
- Fees-Paid: Ready for immediate use in Egypt. No further actions or payments required.
- Not Paid: Works for 90 days only in Egypt, after which you’ll need to pay the activation fee via the Telephony app to avoid service interruption.

How Do I Know If a Device Has the Fees Paid? The fee status is clearly mentioned on each product page—either in the product description or among the available purchase options.

What Is the Value of the Fees?
The fees vary depending on the device model. You can:

  • Contact us directly to check the fee for a specific device.
  • Or visit our Help Center to view the official fee values.

Who Sets the Fee Amount, and Can It Change?Fees are set by the National Telecom Regulatory Authority
Each model has a fixed amount, though the government may update values periodically.

How Do I Pay the Fees If I Choose a Device Without Paid Fees?
Fees are paid through the official “Telephony” app:

  1. Download the app.
  2. Enter the IMEI number of your device.
  3. Pay using a bank card or another available payment method.

What Happens If I Don’t Pay the Fees After 90 Days?
Your device’s cellular services (calls, mobile data, SMS) will be suspended. It will only work again after the fee is paid via the app.

Can I Buy the Device Now and Pay the Fees Later?
Yes, you have a legal grace period of 90 days from the date of activation inside Egypt to pay the fee via the Telephony app.

Product Details

SanDisk Ultra SDXC UHS-I card with 256GB of storage and read speeds up to 150 MB per second, made for photos and Full HD video in compact and mid-range cameras.

SanDisk Ultra SDXC 256GB card with read speeds up to 150MB/s

The SanDisk Ultra SDXC card is a full-size SD card for compact and mid-range point-and-shoot cameras and other devices with an SD slot. With 256GB, it holds a large number of photos and hours of Full HD (1080p) video, so you can keep shooting on a trip without changing cards.

It reads at up to 150 MB per second, which shortens the wait when you copy photos and videos to your computer. The write speed is lower than the read speed. Reaching 150 MB per second needs a compatible reader or device that supports speeds beyond the UHS-I standard of 104 MB per second; in a standard reader the card works normally at that reader's speed.

UHS Speed Class 1 (U1) supports real-time Full HD video recording on UHS-enabled cameras, and Full HD support also depends on the device you record with.

SanDisk Ultra SDXC card, waterproof, shockproof, X-ray proof and temperature proof

The card is durability tested to protect your photos from everyday accidents: it is waterproof, shockproof, X-ray proof and temperature proof, and it operates from -25°C to 85°C.

A 256GB card uses the SDXC format, so your camera must support SDXC cards. Cameras that only accept SDHC cards will not read it.

SanDisk Ultra SDXC Key Features:

  • 256GB of storage: room for a large photo library and hours of Full HD video on one card.
  • Up to 150 MB per second read: faster transfers from the card to your computer with a compatible reader.
  • U1 for Full HD video: designed for real-time 1080p recording on UHS-enabled cameras.
  • Full-size SD card: fits the SD slot of compact cameras, mid-range cameras and card readers.
  • Durability tested: waterproof, shockproof, X-ray proof and temperature proof.
  • Wide operating range: works from -25°C to 85°C, and can be stored from -40°C to 85°C.
