What Are Mobile Phone Activation Fees in Egypt?
As of January 2025, customs and tax fees are applied to mobile phones imported from abroad. These are officially referred to as “Phone Activation Fees.”
These fees are paid once only, calculated at approximately 38.5% of the device’s value, and must be paid through the official "Telephony" app within 90 days of activating the device in Egypt.
Do All Devices on Your Website Include These Fees?

No. At Ennap.com, we provide two clear options depending on your needs:

- Local Warranty Devices: These devices come with fully paid fees, and you won’t need to pay anything extra after purchase.
- International Devices (without local warranty): These may not have their fees paid, but for some products, we offer a fees-paid version at a discounted price.
Will I Need to Pay Anything Later If I Choose a Fees-Paid Device?
No. If you choose the fees-paid version, the price displayed on the website includes all government fees. No additional payments or steps are required.
What’s the Difference Between a Fees-Paid and a Non-Paid Device?
- Fees-Paid: Ready for immediate use in Egypt. No further actions or payments required.
- Not Paid: Works for 90 days only in Egypt, after which you’ll need to pay the activation fee via the Telephony app to avoid service interruption.

How Do I Know If a Device Has the Fees Paid? The fee status is clearly mentioned on each product page—either in the product description or among the available purchase options.

What Is the Value of the Fees?
The fees vary depending on the device model. You can:

  • Contact us directly to check the fee for a specific device.
  • Or visit our Help Center to view the official fee values.

Who Sets the Fee Amount, and Can It Change?Fees are set by the National Telecom Regulatory Authority
Each model has a fixed amount, though the government may update values periodically.

How Do I Pay the Fees If I Choose a Device Without Paid Fees?
Fees are paid through the official “Telephony” app:

  1. Download the app.
  2. Enter the IMEI number of your device.
  3. Pay using a bank card or another available payment method.

What Happens If I Don’t Pay the Fees After 90 Days?
Your device’s cellular services (calls, mobile data, SMS) will be suspended. It will only work again after the fee is paid via the app.

Can I Buy the Device Now and Pay the Fees Later?
Yes, you have a legal grace period of 90 days from the date of activation inside Egypt to pay the fee via the Telephony app.

Product Details

Xiaomi 17T has a clear focus: telephoto photography. It's the first phone in the T series at the 6.59-inch size to carry a periscope telephoto lens, bringing Pro-tier long-range photography to a more compact body. The triple Leica camera system includes a Summilux main lens with a Light Fusion 800 sensor (1/1.55"), a 5x optical zoom periscope telephoto, and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. The 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display runs at 120Hz with 3500-nit peak brightness and holds the industry-first TÜV Rheinland Quadruple Eye Care certification. The 6500mAh silicon-carbon battery supports up to 17.2 hours of continuous use, with 67W fast charging reaching full capacity in 58 minutes. The phone runs on the Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset on a 4nm process with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.

Key Features :
  • Leica 5x Periscope Telephoto — A First in the T Series at This Size: The telephoto delivers 5x optical zoom (115mm equivalent) with OIS stabilization, 10x lossless optical-grade zoom, and AI Ultra Zoom up to 120x. It also supports Telemacro photography with a minimum focus distance of just 30cm — uncommon for a periscope telephoto. The full focal length lineup covers 23mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, and 115mm for genuine shooting versatility.
  • 50MP Leica Summilux Main Camera with Light Fusion 800: The Leica Summilux f/1.7 lens uses a precision 1G+6P hybrid design with multi-layer anti-reflection coating and a spin-coated IR filter to reduce glare, flare, and color cast. The 1/1.55" sensor with Super Pixel binning (2.0μm) delivers a dynamic range of 13.2EV for high-contrast scenes.
  • Leica Live Moment — A T Series First: Records short moments before and after the shutter press to create a living Leica-style image, similar to Live Photos but with a photography-forward editing suite. Supports cropping, color grading, filters, and free collage for sharing across platforms.
  • 6.59-Inch 1.5K Display at 3500 Nits with TÜV Quadruple Eye Care: A resolution of 2756×1268 pixels at 12-bit color depth with 100% DCI-P3 gamut coverage. The TÜV Rheinland Quadruple certification covers Low Blue Light (Hardware Solution), Flicker Free (3840Hz PWM), Circadian Friendly, and Intelligent Eye Care — the last of which is an industry-first certification. Pro-grade color accuracy with Delta E below 0.37.
  • 6500mAh Silicon-Carbon Battery with 67W Charging in 58 Minutes: A 1000mAh increase over the Xiaomi 15T, achieved within the same physical footprint using silicon-carbon technology (energy density: 829 Wh/L). The 67W fast charger supports 50W PD/PPS and up to 22.5W wired reverse charging.
  • Dimensity 8500-Ultra on 4nm with 3D IceLoop Cooling: 7% better multi-core CPU performance and 25% faster Mali-G720 MC8 GPU compared to the previous Dimensity 8400-Ultra. The CPU uses an All-Big-Core architecture with one 3.4GHz prime core, three 3.2GHz performance cores, and four 2.2GHz efficiency cores. The 3D IceLoop cooling system with 6W/mK thermal gel maintains stable performance under load.
  • Xiaomi Astral Communication for Stronger Signal: An advanced antenna array with Xiaomi Surge T1+/T1S Tuner improves low-frequency signal performance by 25%, mid-to-high frequency by 32%, and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS signal strength by 25% — all compared to the Xiaomi 15T. Also supports Xiaomi Offline Communication for voice calls without network coverage.
  • HyperAI with Full AI Photography Toolkit: AI Audio Mixer for video sound balancing, AI Erase Pro for removing unwanted elements, AI Film for turning photos and clips into cinematic videos, AI Image Expansion for intelligent canvas extension, plus Circle to Search with Google and Google Gemini built in.
  • IP68, Bluetooth 6.0, Wi-Fi 6E, and IR Blaster: IP68 water and dust resistance up to 1.5 meters, Bluetooth 6.0 with high-quality audio codec support, Wi-Fi 6E for faster and more stable connections, and an infrared blaster for controlling compatible home appliances.
