The iPhone 18 Pro pairs a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR display with the A20 Pro chip, a 48MP triple camera with a variable aperture, and up to 36 hours of video playback.
This is the Pro in the size most people can actually use one-handed. The body is an aluminium unibody with Ceramic Shield 2 on the front and the back, in four finishes: Black, Silver, Glacier and Burgundy. It measures 150.0 x 71.9 x 8.75 mm and weighs 211 g, with an IP68 rating to a depth of 6 metres for up to 30 minutes.
The screen is a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR panel at 2622 x 1206 and 460 ppi, with ProMotion refreshing adaptively up to 120Hz, an Always-On display and the Dynamic Island. Peak outdoor brightness reaches 3000 nits, and it drops to 1 nit at its dimmest for reading in a dark room.
Inside is the A20 Pro chip: a 6-core CPU with two super cores and four efficiency cores, a 7-core GPU with Neural Accelerators and hardware-accelerated ray tracing, and a dual 16-core Neural Engine that carries the on-device work behind Apple Intelligence on iOS 27.
All three rear lenses are 48MP Fusion cameras, and the Pro carries exactly the same camera system as the larger model. The Main lens physically changes its aperture across ƒ/1.48, ƒ/1.8, ƒ/2.8 and ƒ/4.0, so it opens up for low light and closes down for depth of field instead of leaving both to software. The Telephoto reaches 4x optical at 100mm behind a tetraprism, and the system covers a 16x optical-quality zoom range in total.
Battery life is rated at up to 36 hours of video playback and up to 24 hours of typical use. Wired charging reaches 50% in around 15 minutes with a 60W adapter, and MagSafe and Qi2 wireless charging runs up to 25W.

- 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide and an 18MP front camera: The Ultra Wide sits at 13mm with ƒ/2.2 and a 120° field of view, and the front 18MP Center Stage camera at ƒ/1.9 widens the frame by itself for group selfies and video calls.
- 4K Dolby Vision video up to 120 fps: Recording runs at 24, 25, 30, 60, 100 and 120 frames per second, with ProRes RAW, Apple Log 2 and Dual Capture from the front and rear at the same time.
- Up to 36 hours of video playback: Up to 33 hours when streaming, and up to 24 hours of typical use. Wired charging reaches 50% in around 15 minutes with a 60W adapter, and MagSafe and Qi2 wireless charging runs up to 25W.
- 211 g in a 150.0 x 71.9 mm body: The Pro is the compact half of the pair, and the only difference from the larger model is size, screen and battery life. Everything else is identical.
- Ceramic Shield 2 front and back: On an aluminium unibody, with IP68 water and dust resistance to a depth of 6 metres for up to 30 minutes.
- Dual eSIM, with no physical SIM tray: The phone carries two active eSIM lines and does not accept a physical SIM card, so your carrier has to support eSIM before you can activate a line.
- Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6: With the Apple C2 cellular modem, the Apple N1 wireless networking chip, Thread networking and a second-generation Ultra Wideband chip.
