What Are Mobile Phone Activation Fees in Egypt?
As of January 2025, customs and tax fees are applied to mobile phones imported from abroad. These are officially referred to as “Phone Activation Fees.”
These fees are paid once only, calculated at approximately 38.5% of the device’s value, and must be paid through the official "Telephony" app within 90 days of activating the device in Egypt.
Do All Devices on Your Website Include These Fees?

No. At Ennap.com, we provide two clear options depending on your needs:

- Local Warranty Devices: These devices come with fully paid fees, and you won’t need to pay anything extra after purchase.
- International Devices (without local warranty): These may not have their fees paid, but for some products, we offer a fees-paid version at a discounted price.
Will I Need to Pay Anything Later If I Choose a Fees-Paid Device?
No. If you choose the fees-paid version, the price displayed on the website includes all government fees. No additional payments or steps are required.
What’s the Difference Between a Fees-Paid and a Non-Paid Device?
- Fees-Paid: Ready for immediate use in Egypt. No further actions or payments required.
- Not Paid: Works for 90 days only in Egypt, after which you’ll need to pay the activation fee via the Telephony app to avoid service interruption.

How Do I Know If a Device Has the Fees Paid? The fee status is clearly mentioned on each product page—either in the product description or among the available purchase options.

What Is the Value of the Fees?
The fees vary depending on the device model. You can:

  • Contact us directly to check the fee for a specific device.
  • Or visit our Help Center to view the official fee values.

Who Sets the Fee Amount, and Can It Change?Fees are set by the National Telecom Regulatory Authority
Each model has a fixed amount, though the government may update values periodically.

How Do I Pay the Fees If I Choose a Device Without Paid Fees?
Fees are paid through the official “Telephony” app:

  1. Download the app.
  2. Enter the IMEI number of your device.
  3. Pay using a bank card or another available payment method.

What Happens If I Don’t Pay the Fees After 90 Days?
Your device’s cellular services (calls, mobile data, SMS) will be suspended. It will only work again after the fee is paid via the app.

Can I Buy the Device Now and Pay the Fees Later?
Yes, you have a legal grace period of 90 days from the date of activation inside Egypt to pay the fee via the Telephony app.

Product Details

The iQibla Qwatch aMan K2 is an Islamic kids phone watch: you see your child's location in the iQIBLA Life app, it takes its own Nano-SIM on 2G, 3G and 4G, and it teaches prayer.

See where your child is, right from your phone
On the way to school, at the club or at a relative's house, open the iQIBLA Life app on your phone and see where your child is. The aMan K2 finds its position in four ways: GPS, Wi-Fi, LBS (mobile network cell towers) and Bluetooth. It stays connected through its own Nano-SIM on 2G, 3G and 4G networks, so your child does not need to carry a phone for you to know where they are.

A kids phone with its own SIM
Your child stays in touch with you without a phone in their pocket. The aMan K2 is a kids phone on the wrist: put a Nano-SIM from your mobile operator in it and it works with its own line. Alerts for calls, messages and apps show on the 1.91-inch touch screen, and the watch runs on a 670 mAh battery.

Prayer learning your child can follow on their own
Your child opens Prayer Learning and is walked through salah with sound and pictures together. The audio and visual lessons show each movement of the prayer and explain what it means, and your child moves on only when ready. Short lessons on the Pillars of Islam and the Pillars of Faith (Iman) explain the basics of what your child believes, one pillar at a time.

Prayer time reminders and a Quran player on the wrist
When a prayer time comes in, the watch reminds your child on its own, so the five daily prayers turn into a routine without you calling out each time. Between prayers, the built-in Holy Quran player plays recitations whenever your child wants to listen, at home, on the way to school or before sleep.

Tasbih counter and the 99 Names of Allah
After prayer, your child does their dhikr on the tasbih counter instead of counting on their fingers and losing track. The 99 Names of Allah appear on the screen with the meaning of each name, so your child can learn them a few at a time.

iQibla Qwatch aMan K2 Key Features:

  • Your child's location in the iQIBLA Life app: follow where your child is from your phone, with positioning by GPS, Wi-Fi, LBS (cell towers) and Bluetooth.
  • Kids phone with a Nano-SIM: the watch takes its own Nano-SIM and works on 2G, 3G and 4G networks, so your child stays in touch without carrying a phone.
  • Qimi AI companion that speaks Arabic: Qimi chats with your child in Arabic through everyday conversation, which gives daily practice in the language of the Quran. Qimi AI reaches the aMan K2 through a firmware update.
  • Answers and stories within a faith filter: Qimi answers questions such as why we fast in a way suited to your child's age, and narrates the stories of the Prophets, all within Islamic morals.
  • Prayer Learning and Pillars lessons: audio and visual lessons for each movement of salah, plus short lessons on the Pillars of Islam and Iman.
  • 1.91-inch touch screen: a TFT display at 240 x 280 with multi-touch, large enough for lessons, prayer times and the tasbih counter.
  • Android 8.1 with 1GB + 8GB: 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage, Bluetooth 4.0, a front VGA camera and a 670 mAh battery.
  • Call, message and app notifications: alerts show up on the watch screen, so your child sees them at a glance.
  • IP67 water resistance: splashes and water during wudu do not harm the watch, so your child can keep it on while making wudu before prayer.
  • Three colours for boys and girls: Pink, Black and Blue, each with a matching strap. Choose the colour you want from the product options before completing your order.
