What Are Mobile Phone Activation Fees in Egypt?
As of January 2025, customs and tax fees are applied to mobile phones imported from abroad. These are officially referred to as “Phone Activation Fees.”
These fees are paid once only, calculated at approximately 38.5% of the device’s value, and must be paid through the official "Telephony" app within 90 days of activating the device in Egypt.
Do All Devices on Your Website Include These Fees?

No. At Ennap.com, we provide two clear options depending on your needs:

- Local Warranty Devices: These devices come with fully paid fees, and you won’t need to pay anything extra after purchase.
- International Devices (without local warranty): These may not have their fees paid, but for some products, we offer a fees-paid version at a discounted price.
Will I Need to Pay Anything Later If I Choose a Fees-Paid Device?
No. If you choose the fees-paid version, the price displayed on the website includes all government fees. No additional payments or steps are required.
What’s the Difference Between a Fees-Paid and a Non-Paid Device?
- Fees-Paid: Ready for immediate use in Egypt. No further actions or payments required.
- Not Paid: Works for 90 days only in Egypt, after which you’ll need to pay the activation fee via the Telephony app to avoid service interruption.

How Do I Know If a Device Has the Fees Paid? The fee status is clearly mentioned on each product page—either in the product description or among the available purchase options.

What Is the Value of the Fees?
The fees vary depending on the device model. You can:

  • Contact us directly to check the fee for a specific device.
  • Or visit our Help Center to view the official fee values.

Who Sets the Fee Amount, and Can It Change?Fees are set by the National Telecom Regulatory Authority
Each model has a fixed amount, though the government may update values periodically.

How Do I Pay the Fees If I Choose a Device Without Paid Fees?
Fees are paid through the official “Telephony” app:

  1. Download the app.
  2. Enter the IMEI number of your device.
  3. Pay using a bank card or another available payment method.

What Happens If I Don’t Pay the Fees After 90 Days?
Your device’s cellular services (calls, mobile data, SMS) will be suspended. It will only work again after the fee is paid via the app.

Can I Buy the Device Now and Pay the Fees Later?
Yes, you have a legal grace period of 90 days from the date of activation inside Egypt to pay the fee via the Telephony app.

Product Details

The Apple Watch Series 12 Ceramic Case is Apple's first ceramic Series watch, with a polished scratch-resistant finish, sapphire crystal and the Health Sensing System.

The Apple Watch Series 12 Ceramic Case is the top finish of the three. Apple describes it as sophisticated and scratch resistant with a rich, polished finish, and it is covered by a sapphire crystal display rather than the Ceramic Shield 2 used on the aluminium case. It is also the heaviest and very slightly the largest: 41.7 grams in Pearl White and 42.8 grams in Night Blue at 42mm, and 51.3 and 52.9 grams at 46mm, with a case 1mm taller and 0.15mm deeper than the aluminium and titanium versions. It comes with GPS + Cellular as standard. Inside, it is the same watch as the other finishes: the Health Sensing System paired with the S11 chip, with a 64-bit dual-core processor, a 4-core Neural Engine and 64GB of storage.

Health Sensing System and heart rate reading on Apple Watch Series 12

The Health Sensing System measures heart rate and heart rate variability more frequently, which Apple describes as the most accurate heart rate sensing it has put in a wearable, and it feeds the readiness score that tells you whether to push or take it easy. The Always-On Retina display uses wide-angle OLEDs with LTPO3 and drops to a 1Hz refresh rate to save power. It reaches 2000 nits at peak and dims to a single nit in the dark, running at 374 x 446 on the 42mm case and 416 x 496 on the 46mm, both at 326 pixels per inch.

Readiness score shown on three Apple Watch Series 12 units

Health tracking covers the ECG app, the Blood Oxygen app, an always-on optical heart sensor, a temperature sensor, irregular rhythm and hypertension notifications, Advanced Cycle Tracking, the Vitals and Medications apps, and a Sleep app with sleep stages, a sleep score and sleep apnea notifications. Safety features include Fall Detection, Crash Detection and Emergency SOS. The case is water resistant to 50 metres under ISO 22810:2010 with an IP6X dust rating and a depth gauge good for 6 metres.

Sport Band colours for Apple Watch Series 12

Battery life runs to 24 hours of normal use, 38 hours in Low Power Mode and 10 hours of outdoor workout tracking, with fast charging reaching 80% in about 30 minutes. Connectivity covers precision L1 GPS across GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and BeiDou, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, a second-generation Ultra Wideband chip, Apple Pay and GymKit, plus 5G and LTE. It runs watchOS 27 with Siri powered by Apple Intelligence, and pairs with an iPhone 11 or later on iOS 27 or later.

Apple Watch Series 12 Ceramic Case Key Features:

  • Polished ceramic case - Apple describes it as sophisticated and scratch resistant with a rich, polished finish, and it is the top finish in the Series 12 line.
  • Sapphire crystal display - more scratch resistant than the Ceramic Shield 2 fitted to the aluminium case.
  • GPS + Cellular as standard - 5G and LTE are built in, so the watch stays connected with the iPhone left at home.
  • Two colours - Pearl White and Night Blue, chosen from the product options.
  • The heaviest of the three finishes - 41.7 to 42.8 grams at 42mm and 51.3 to 52.9 grams at 46mm, which is worth knowing before you commit to wearing it overnight for sleep tracking.
  • Health Sensing System - the most accurate heart rate sensing Apple has put in a wearable, with higher-frequency heart rate and heart rate variability measurements.
  • Readiness score - a single daily number built from your sleep, heart data and recent activity, so you know whether to train hard or hold back.
  • S11 chip with a 4-core Neural Engine - Apple's most powerful wearable chip, with 64GB of storage on board.
  • Always-On Retina display at up to 2000 nits - wide-angle OLED with LTPO3, dropping to 1Hz to save power and to 1 nit in the dark.
  • ECG app and Blood Oxygen app - alongside irregular rhythm notifications, hypertension notifications and the Vitals app.
  • Sleep stages, a sleep score and sleep apnea notifications - a full picture of the night rather than a simple hours count.
  • 50 metre water resistance and IP6X dust resistance - swimproof under ISO 22810:2010, with a depth gauge and a water temperature sensor.
  • Up to 24 hours of normal use and 38 hours in Low Power Mode - with fast charging to 80% in about 30 minutes.
  • watchOS 27 with Siri powered by Apple Intelligence - personal context and world knowledge answered from the wrist.
