MSI PRO MP242 E14A is a 23.8-inch Full HD IPS monitor with 144Hz, 1ms MPRT, Adaptive-Sync, HDMI, DisplayPort and VGA inputs, and two built-in speakers.
The MSI PRO MP242 E14A puts a 23.8-inch IPS panel at 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) on your desk, made for office work during the day and games or films in the evening. IPS keeps colours and text consistent across 178-degree viewing angles, so the picture holds up when you look from the side or share the screen with a colleague, and the anti-glare surface cuts reflections from windows and ceiling lights.
MSI's PerfectEdge design uses slim bezels on all four sides for a 92% screen-to-body ratio. More of the front is picture, and when you line up two or three monitors side by side, the gaps between them stay narrow.
A 144Hz refresh rate with a 1ms MPRT response (4ms GtG) makes scrolling pages, dragging windows and fast games look smoother than on a standard 60Hz screen. Adaptive-Sync matches the monitor to your graphics card anywhere from 48 to 144Hz, which reduces tearing and stutter when frame rates rise and fall.
The panel delivers 300 nits of brightness, a 1500:1 contrast ratio and 16.7 million colours (8-bit, 6-bit + FRC), with colour coverage of 121% sRGB, 91% DCI-P3 and 86% Adobe RGB (CIE 1976). The monitor is also HDR Ready, so it accepts HDR content from your PC or console.
For long days at the screen, the display is TÜV certified, and MSI EyesErgo with anti-flicker technology helps reduce eye strain and fatigue. Eye-Q Check adds quick astigmatism and Amsler grid self-checks, a posture guide and reminders to take a break. The stand tilts from -5 to 20 degrees to set a comfortable viewing angle.
Three video inputs keep older and current devices connected: HDMI 2.0b and DisplayPort 1.2a both run 1920 x 1080 at up to 144Hz, and D-Sub (VGA) runs up to 60Hz for older computers. MSI lists PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox, phones and laptops as compatible sources, and firmware updates install over the DisplayPort connection.
A 100 x 100 mm VESA mount lets you move the screen to a monitor arm or a wall bracket, or attach an MSI Cubi series or another mini PC to the back for a tidy all-in-one setup. With MSI Power Link over HDMI CEC, a connected MSI desktop turns on with the monitor's power button. The power supply is built in, so there is no external adapter on the desk, and a Kensington lock slot is provided.
Two 2W speakers handle video calls, alerts and everyday audio without extra boxes on the desk, and a headphone output takes over when you need privacy. An accessory slot keeps small items such as a phone or adapters within reach, and the MSI Display Kit app lets you arrange window layouts and switch colour modes from your computer.
