Product Details

The Schneider Home Power Mount AC Wired is wired into a single-gang wall box to power Apple HomeView (Wall Mounted) straight from the house wiring, with no adapter and no visible cable.

A clean wall with no cable or adapter in sight
An electrician connects the mount to the house wiring inside a single-gang wall box, using screwless terminals for 12 to 14 AWG wire, and the mount sits flush over the box. Once HomeView is in place, there is no plug, adapter or cable on the wall, which suits an entryway or hallway where a hanging cable would stand out.

Schneider Home Power Mount AC Wired installed flush on a living room wall with no visible cables

Up to 30W and a magnetic hold
The mount delivers up to 30W over USB-C Power Delivery to keep HomeView powered all the time. Precision magnets guide Apple HomeView (Wall Mounted) into the exact position and hold it firmly against the wall.

Frequently asked questions

What does international warranty mean?

The product was imported from outside Egypt through an importer, not through the product's local agent.

Why is the warranty period only 100 days?

Imported devices normally come without a warranty, but we give you 100 days to fully test and try the product.

Why doesn't the product come with a one-year warranty?

The product may not be available through a local agent at all, or not at the moment, so it is supplied from abroad with our 100-day warranty to give you peace of mind and the best experience.

When does the warranty start and how is it activated?

The warranty starts on the purchase date and we activate it automatically from that date.

What if the product is damaged by misuse, such as a broken screen, and what about spare parts?

We have a full maintenance department for all products and provide most spare parts for products sold with an international warranty. You can submit a maintenance request here. You can also service the product through the product's agent or other service centers if they have the spare parts.

Product FAQs

Can the Schneider Home Power Mount AC Wired be connected to 220 V home wiring?
No, not this version. The Schneider Home Power Mount AC Wired (SAH111211) is rated for 100 to 130 V AC, 50 or 60 Hz, and is certified to UL and CSA standards. On 220 to 240 V wiring, use the Power Mount USB-C Wall Connector with a USB-C power adapter or the Power Mount PoE Wired, and contact us before ordering if you need the AC Wired mount for a different voltage.

Do I need an electrician to install the Power Mount AC Wired?
Yes. The Power Mount AC Wired connects directly to the mains inside a wall box, so installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.

What size wall box does the Power Mount AC Wired need?
A single-gang wall box no wider than 68 mm, no taller than 100 mm and at least 35 mm deep. Ask your electrician to confirm that the box in your wall matches these sizes before ordering.

Does the Power Mount AC Wired need a power adapter?
No. The Power Mount AC Wired takes power from the house wiring and delivers up to 30W over USB-C to Apple HomeView (Wall Mounted), so no separate power adapter is used.

Does the Power Mount AC Wired work with the tabletop Apple HomeView?
No. The Power Mount AC Wired is made only for Apple HomeView (Wall Mounted). The tabletop Apple HomeView stands on its own speaker base and is not designed for wall mounting.

What is the difference between the Schneider Home Power Mount USB-C Wall Connector, AC Wired and PoE Wired?
The difference is how power reaches Apple HomeView (Wall Mounted). The USB-C Wall Connector is screwed onto the wall and runs a 2-metre USB-C cable to a USB-C power adapter (20W to 60W) in a nearby outlet, with no electrician needed. The AC Wired mount is wired into the mains inside a single-gang wall box by an electrician, delivers up to 30W and leaves no cable on the wall. The PoE Wired mount sits in a single-gang wall box and takes power and wired internet from one Ethernet cable connected to a PoE switch, delivering 20W.

What colour is the Power Mount AC Wired, and does it suit Silver and Space Gray HomeView?
The Power Mount AC Wired comes in white (RAL 9003) only, and the same mount is used for both Apple HomeView (Wall Mounted) colours, Silver and Space Gray. The mount face is 12.63 cm square, smaller than the 14.55 cm HomeView screen.
